UNIVERSE

Mohamed iliyas S/o Sakkarai Mohammed, kalpakkam.

The Merciful Allah created the Universe and whatever is in it,

Imam Muslim reported that the prophet (S.A.W.) said: “When Allah created the heavens and the earth, he created>

Here are few interesting facts in the outer space that shows Allah’s mercy>  Jupiter is our solar system’s largest planet. Jupiter’s powerful gravity affects space rocks or asteroid belt. It forces them toward the sun, where they have the possibility of colliding with Earth.

Jupiter’s gravity also protects us from long-period comets that enter the solar system from its outer reaches. Jupiter’s gravity slings most of these fast-moving ice balls out of the solar system before they can get close to Earth. So long periodcomets are thought to strike Earth>  Planet earth rotates around an invisible axis through its centre, which is responsible for night and day. Its revolution around the sun with an axial tilt is responsible for the seasons and changes to the climate over the course of its year. For the other planets such as Jupiter, Uranus, the axial tilt is either very small or extreme which causes its hemispheres to be in continuous sunlight or continuous darkness and extreme temperatures.

Our earth is the>rain clouds, Allah mentions in the Quran: He it is Who showeth you the lightning, a fear and a hope, and raiseth the heavy clouds.

Sura 13 - Al-Rad : Verse 12

Nitrogen is>  It is a great wonder that so many tones of water defy gravity and float above in the air smoothly as clouds.  Galaxies are huge star systems consisting of millions, billions or even trillions of stars.

We don’t know how many galaxies are there in the Universe. Every time astronomers look into the Universe they discover more galaxies.Atoms make up about>  For every type of particle of matter a corresponding type of particle of anti-matter exists, which is like a mirror image of it.

Our Guru Wapa Nayagam has written in his mystic poem Engum Khaleelai kandane , that you find opposites in everything which are the patterns of the almighty.  These are> And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink), the words of Allah could not be exhausted. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.

Sura 31 Luqman : Verse 27

Light travels at 300,000 km per second, so light from very distant objects like stars and Galaxies takes a long time to reach us.  The Andromeda Galaxy is 2.5 million years away from Earth. This means we see the galaxy as it was 2.5 million years ago. We are looking back in time. Light from the nearest star after the sun takes 4.28 years. So we say this star Proxima Centauri is 4.28 light years away.  Distant stars are seen as they were in the past when the light left them. So what we see from here is their position.

Allah mentions in Quran in sura 56- waqia, sura 75-77: Nay, I swear by the position of the stars – And Lo! That verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew- that this is indeed a noble Quran

Knowledge is what encircles a definite object, it cannot encircle an unlimited object. Thus in absolutism, God is cognizant of Himself; the Knower and the Known are Himself. Though the light of God manifests itself in different shades and capacities, His absoluteness is unlimited beyond our conception.

People who have obtained proximity to God are called ‘Auliyah. Following is a ecstatic utterance of Auliya Jalaluddin Rumi when he was in a state of ecstasy and Fana (annihilation) in ‘Zath’(Reality) and attained Unitism. “I have already crossed the bounds of knowledge and thought and I wander beyond their border”.Hazrath Shaikh Abdul Hassan Shazli (Rah) states: “Keep diversity in words and unity in heart. This is the stage of “Kamal” (perfection)”.

According to this everything appears to be different from each other. This is a great mystery to be solved. Those who are capable of solving or deciphering this mystery have observed God in His illumination.   The ‘Arif’(Gnostic) with his insight sees, in the diversities of the casual world, the all prevailing Oneness of God.

O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.

Holy Quran: 35-15

Alhamdulillah
